The medical focus of the clinic is on orthopaedics and internal medicine. Through rehabilitation and follow-up treatment measures, the Klinik Dr. Baumstark primarily treats patients after hip, knee, shoulder or spinal surgery as well as the entire musculoskeletal system.
The operating company Klinik Dr. Baumstark GmbH is a subsidiary of Kur- und Kongreß-GmbH Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, which in turn is a 100% subsidiary of the city of Bad Homburg.
Klinik Dr. Baumstark is authorized under § 107 Abs. 2 SGB V (German Social Security Code) to carry out preventive, rehabilitation, and follow-up treatment measures. It is also permitted to operate as a private hospital and is eligible for benefits under § 30/155 of the Trade Regulations.
A care contract in accordance with §111 Para. 3 SGB V exists with the health insurance associations in Hesse and the German Pension Insurance Association. Members of the statutory health insurance funds and the German Pension Insurance Association are entitled to benefits for prevention (§ 23 Para. 3 SGB V), rehabilitation (§ 40 SGB V) and follow-up treatment at the Klinik Dr. Baumstark.
