Certification and Authorization

The Dr. Baumstark Clinic is a rehabilitation, medical follow-up treatment (AHB) and prevention clinic specializing in the treatment of internal and orthopedic illnesses. For many years, the clinic has been especially successful in the treatment of metabolic disorders, gastroenterological diseases as well as psychovegetative syndromes.

Our clinic has received the certification from the federal employee pension fund (BfA) to carry out out-patient and/or partial in-patient rehabilitation procedures. It is also certified to carry out medical follow-up treatment. Our AHB certificate covers BfA indications 4 and 10a.

Our clinic is certified to operate a private clinic in accordance with §§ 30/155 of the trading regulations. In the appendix to the financial assistance guidelines, Bad Homburg is listed as a recognized spa. The treatments offered by our clinic are thus eligible for financial assistance.

The Dr. Baumstark Clinic is an institution in accordance with § 107, clause 2 of the SGB V (German social law). There is a benefit agreement with the associations of health insurances in the state of Hessia in accordance with § 11, clause 3 of the SGB V. Members of the public insurances are thus able to receive preventative care (§ 23, clause 3, SGB V) and rehabilitation treatment (§ 40 SGB V) at our clinic.

For the most part, we provide in-patient care at our clinic. The federal employee pension fund (BfA) as well as all public health insurances, financial assistance offices and private health insurances may assign clinic places and assume the cost of medical treatment.
